Kaci Dwelle Bower
Kaci Bower is the creator and T.O.O.F. (The Owner, Operator, and Founder) of Letters from a Tooth Fairy. She formed this business with us tooth fairies after seeing her daughter's reaction to an unconventional visit from one of our fairies at The Tooth Fairy Company.
With her many years of corporate experience, Kaci has been a key player in restructuring our tooth fairy operations to make us more customer-centric, aka kid-friendly. Our tooth fairy motto used to be: “Your loss. Our gain.” While simple and to the point, she helped us see that we were coming off a little too heavy-handed with that. We have now rebranded ourselves under a new motto: “Losing a tooth has never been so much fun."
Kaci is excited to lead the Letters from a Tooth Fairy team. Although she’s supervised some real characters in her life, she’s never managed a company of tooth fairies. Despite the challenges that come with this new role (like how to describe it on LinkedIn), she loves the power that comes with a delete button.
Arland is Kaci's father and the co-creator of Letters from a Tooth Fairy. He is also Director of our E.Y.E (Education Yields Expertise) Tooth Department at The Tooth Fairy Company.
Arland's responsibilities include tooth fairy candidate identification, selection, training and coaching. He helps each of the tooth fairies uncover their unique personalities, find their writing voices, and engage children in fun-loving adventures. He also regularly steps in as a ghost writer for tooth fairies immobilized by writer’s block.
A storyteller at heart, Arland finds inspiration in the every day objects, experiences and lives of his daughters and granddaughters. From the adventures of Fred the Bug to the tales of Atticus the Attic Mouse, the stories of these household characters quickly became part of his family's lore. Upon learning this, it made perfect sense to bring Arland on board to head up the E.Y.E. Tooth Department.
For years, tooth fairies have been generic, bland, and all together much too forgettable for our liking. Under Arland's leadership, however, we tooth fairies have made great strides in our personal branding efforts, particularly in the areas of first and lasting impressions.
